The Engineer

Specialist in small joint mechanics and structural leverage.

I am not a prodigy. I am a career Engineer.

My professional background includes 11 years in Electronic Engineering, 8 years in IT Systems Engineering, and 17 years in Project Estimating. I have spent a lifetime estimating risk, analyzing load capacity, and calculating failure points in hardware. I apply this exact methodology to the human skeleton.

My martial arts journey began in 2001. By 2006, I earned certification in Advanced Locking Mechanics, followed by my Hapkido Black Belt in 2008. In that discipline, I learned that the human wrist is not designed to withstand rotational torque.

The digital consensus often claims: "Wrist locks don't work." Even a close ally—a brother in arms—challenged this hypothesis. I did not argue; I initiated a stress test. Under the pressure of a properly executed lever, he was rendered helpless. The data was undeniable.

I have now successfully integrated 25 years of Hapkido mechanics into ground mechanics. I stopped fighting the 220lb loads directly. I started dismantling the latches and hinges that hold them together. The result is the Wrist Lock Lab.
